One more funny to share...

> Maybe its her age, maybe Im listening more these days, but Isabella is saying the funniest things.

> Shes sat through church with me the last two Sundays. Its funny which parts of the service and sermon she picks up on. Last Sunday John was preaching on getting ourselves ready for the birth of Jesus. First Isabella asked why he kept asking if we were ready... Glad she noticed. Then this lead to a conversation on getting ready for baby Jesus. She wasn't sure if he was coming to our house. I told her he's in our hearts. And amazingly she left it at that.

> Today she was playing doctor and giving her baby dolls, me and Trey check ups. She was so tender and sweet with Trey. She keeps calling him beautiful and it makes my heart smile each time she says it. Then she used the stethoscope to listen to my heart. She said, "That's good I hear Jesus!"

> I love that kid. My heart aches for the parents who lost their sweet, innocent, funny children this week.

Santa's Wonderland

Last night we went to Santa's Wonderland in College Station. We went with our sweet friends, The Martinez's. It's built up like an old time Texas town with millions of Christmas lights, shops, eateries and live performers.
Once you walk through some saloon doors there is a fake snow machine. The fist picture perfectly captures the excitement and thrill that Isabella felt playing in the "snow!" After some good squealing and playing we got a picture of Kendell and Isabella together.
The number of lights and displays they have created are really amazing. Here we are in front of a HUGE Texas flag. Trey was a super trooper in the baby bojurn.
We then rode on a cute kiddie train covered in christmas lights. Isabella picked the purple car.
A visit to Santa was next on our list. They wouldn't let you take pictures-- but it was great to watch Isabella actually talk to Santa about her Christmas wishes. They exchanged hugs and he gave her some stickers. Then he reminded her to please put out lots of cookies on Christmas Eve.
The live musicians were great. Isabella loved the Christmas music and country music. She danced her guts out.
After dinner, we went on the hayride. It was a thirty minute ride. There were arches covered with lights- an amazing airplane lit up-Santas workshop with elves-a nativity scene and the ride ended with an Easter scene. They played Christmas carols as we rode and it was adorable to watch and hear Isabella belt out her version of Jingle Bells.
We stopped by the food stations for dessert. Robert got a funnel cake, Cerissa got a brownie sundae and Isabella got some pink ice cream(strawberry).
It was well worth the price if admission. Kids and adults had a great time. A big thanks to ALL the people that work this venue!

Football Friday

Every Friday, during football season, Robert and Isabella wear their TAMU gear to work and school. Trey was able to join in the family tradition today.

Baby Shower

My class surprised me with a baby shower today. It was fun. We played some guesstimation games. Then they guessed the baby food type. Finally they measured toilet paper to try to guess how big my belly is. Five kids either got it spot on or were one away. I guess those end of day hugs give them a good idea! They were so generous. Lots of baby clothes, toys, diapers, gift cards and a play mat!! We are so lucky to know such sweet families and kids.

Pumpkin Picking

We ended the day at Dewberry Farm by picking out a 23lb pumpkin! Thank goodness for Bob! He carried the pumpkin back to the car.

We had our first adventure at Dewberry Farm. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather. Everyone took a turn with Isabella on the cow train and rides!

Best Friends

We all have friends we just love. They are people who are just easy to be with. They love us when were our best and when were tried and cranky they deal with us lovingly. Isabella and Pablo have been friends since Isabella first went to daycare. They're going on three years! Pablo changed daycares this year. It was a hard transition for both kids. The beautiful thing about good friends is that you make time to be together. The kids made friendship bears at build-a-bear and then played at the playground. It was a wonderful afternoon. Im so thankful for Isabella to have such a sweet friend who is from such a nice family!

Football Season

Each season we get a picture of my two favorite Aggies. Before the season is over, we'll be able to add a third favorite Aggie to this photo. Gig'em!!

Family Photo Shoot

Thanks to the good people at GROUPON and PICTURE PEOPLE, we had a family photo shoot this morning.  It was HILARIOUS to get Isabella to focus.  She was just too excited about all the kids and families who were also there to take pictures.  Here is what we ended up with! :)
