Isabella is here!
Isabella Renee Ford was born on
Wednesday, March 24th at 5:20 p.m.
She was 19 3/4 inches long and weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz.
She has a beautiful head full of black hair, long skinny fingers, pretty little feet with perfect toes and well... we think she is BEAUTIFUL!
She's already met many of her grandparents and will meet the rest of them very soon. We are finally home and glad to have space and quiet.

The Waiting Game
It's 9 days or less until Isabella makes her appearance in our lives. This is also my Spring Break from school. It's nice to rest, but it makes the waiting seem so LONG. Our doctor is on a ski trip this week... so we have mixed feelings about Isabella coming before next week. Who knows... take your guess and leave a comment! :)

More Showers...
We have been showered upon some more!
In the last week we have been generously gifted by our neighbors and my third grade class. On Sunday, our neighbors hosted a shower. We were able to share in baby girl excitement with our neighbor Ellen. Her little girl is due the week after Isabella. Ellen and I were able to share the excitement and the hot seat! We played great games and there was fun beautiful treats for everyone to eat. We came home with lots of wonderful things that will help dress and entertain Isabella once we get her home.
Just yesterday, Friday, my class threw us at shower at one parent's home. The shower was kid friendly and perfect. They kids loved playing guess the baby food game. They could not believe that babies actually ate that stuff! Then, they played - guess that baby item. They had to feel items inside a pillow case and guess what each item was. At the end of that game... each of them somehow made a perfect score! :) We received beautiful gift items from various families and the class gave us a fun play mat and highchair.
Today we have put batteries in all the baby's toys, laundered her sheets and clothes, and ordered the rest of the baby room decor... We're almost ready!

Sweet 6 pound 4 oz baby... ISABELLA
We had a great doctor visit today and learned that Isabella is 6 lbs. 4 oz.
Dr. Storey is pleased with her growth and thinks she'll be a good 7-8 lb. baby come birth date.
Robert and I got some new pictures. I will have to scan them, but then I will get them up for you to see. She continues to face out, so you see her straight on rather than one of those fun profile shots. She also kicked at the technician, so we have a fun action shot of her foot!
We'll continue to keep you posted. Please keep sending those positive thoughts and prayers our way as we prepare for her coming.
