Working Dad

When Robert comes home from work he gives Isabella a bottle. It's our attempt to get her ready for when I have to go back to work and she will be taking a bottle more than hanging out with me during meal time. I thought they looked exceptionally cute this evening and snapped a quick pic.

A day of baby gazing....

We helped Isabella celebrate her one month birthday yesterday. Today we have hung out at home. We cooked breakfast, hung out on the terrace, took a lazy afternoon nap, and watched the Mavs beat the Spurs. We couldn't have ordered a more perfect Saturday. Here are some videos we took today. I will be the first to admit that we are just smitten with this baby... so WATCH WITH CAUTION... we think she's the best... but in reality it's just BABY GAZING.

Napping, Sleeping, Eating....

Isabella is queen of nap time. I put her tennis shoe socks on yesterday and thought she looked too cute and sporty - so I had to share! When she was awake she was shooting hoops... :)Each evening we give Isabella her bath. Last night her dad decided to put this washcloth on her head. We thought she looked hilarious and she didn't seem to mind. Bathtime=Happytime
We tried to strategically place the washcloth to keep her modest!

Go Mavs!

Thanks to Tammy and Rich, Isabella has her own game day attire and was able to cheer for the Mavs on Saturday night. Here are some photos....she didn't quite make it through the game, but we were so glad that the Mavericks did!

Isabella's Baptism Gown

Our sweet friend Lisa told me at Christmas that she wanted to make Isabella a baptism gown for her birthday present. Well... it came in the mail today and it is BEAUTIFUL. We've all ooooohed and ahhhhhed over it and now we have to start thinking about planning her baptism. We will keep you posted.

More Visitors and Some Family Time

Isabella met her Bob on Thursday. He brought her a token from his baseball trip! We had a great time visiting with Bob and Grandma Fran. Bob even taught us the words to a song called... Daddy's Girl. That will have to be one more song for Robert to learn!
Isabella had visitors on Friday. She met her Great Grandparents (GG and Pa) and her Great Aunt and Uncle (Charlene and Tom). We had a great visit. Isabella even got a beautiful pink blanket that was made for her Pops (Weldon) but since he turned out to be a boy instead of girl baby GG just held on to it. Now Isabella has a beautiful Boggus family heirloom!
Today we are enjoying hanging out together. Isabella and her dad are snuggling down for a day of golf and basketball.

Isabella's first week

Isabella is officially a week old. At her doctor appointment yesterday we learned that she is already growing so fast...
She is now 7 lbs. 7 oz. and is measuring in at 21 1/2 inches long. She's in the 95% for length and 50% for weight. She is her daddy's girl and we couldn't be more proud.
