This weekend was a weekend I have been looking forward to for months! We planned this weekend one year ago when we went to visit the Varn's in Little Rock. At that time, Britton was pregnant (but we didn't know she would have a Gracie Abigail), I didn't even dream we would have Isabella, and Stephanie hadn't known that she would be expecting baby girl #2!
So, 13 months later we got together in Houston and now there are 10 of us and soon to be 11! Stephanie, James, Avery, Britton, Chris, Riley and Gracie arrived at our house on Friday evening. We played, ate, played some more and then we put babies to bed and stayed up late visiting! It was so wonderful to be with such special friends and to spend some time with their most AMAZING children.
On Saturday we went to the Children's Museum of Houston. Riley and Avery checked the out all the exhibits. We learned alot as well about sound, water, perception, weight and how a city runs. They have two new great exhibits, Kidtropilous and a HUGE three-story climbing tower. Chris helped Riley check out the pulley.
Avery and James got into the money table.When we got home we put Isabella and Gracie in their best friends onsies. Stephanie made them for the girls to wear before Isabella was born. We were so thankful that they would still fit our fast growing girls! Stephanie also brought the girls some super cute leggings that she made. Check out her website for more fun baby things!

On Sunday morning we had to get a picture of all the kids before the Flores' went home. It was more difficult than you might imagine to get all of them to sit still, smile and look at a camera at the same time. I've decided I love that they are all doing differnt things! Here are my shots.
Riley is such a great big brother. It was fun to watch him LOVE on his sister! At dinner on Saturday night Robert and Isabella played as we waited for our food.
Sunday after nap time we took Riley to the mall to play on the playground. In Houston, outside playgrounds are not so much fun in June. There is usually a water play area for kids at the mall ... but the water was turned off so we talked Riley into jumping.
After jumping, ice cream and dinner we came home and let him play in the sprinklers.
It was a great weekend. I hope to see all of them before next Spring/Summer.... but if not... we'll have just as much fun seeing how much everyone has GROWN UP!
